The buzzing works well, it sounds like you're on a train.  ;)

You have to catch more rabbits! If you bring the guy 5 rabbits he gives you a heart container, totally worth it.

Thanks for mentioning the Tingle in the shops, it's a fantastic little touch. The shop near the Ocean Realm is a nice little nod to Phantom Hourglass too.

good show, I noticed the noise from Duane's mic but it's nothing major really. Hope you manage to get rid of it simply because English is my second language so anything that makes understanding more difficult is not welcome :P
Nice to hear you liked my question and answered it...well, it was the only one afterall hehe! Anyway I'm glad if I'm giving a good contribute, that's really what I want to do. I'd like to add something to the topic: the game is definitely playable with this controller setup and the tilting stuff is good, probably is my preference to the way buttons are placed on the SNES/classic controller that makes it a bit wierd for me. I like to be able to use both the run/action and jump button with my thumb, it's the way I'm more comfortable with, plus the buttons are a bit small so it makes it a bit harder for me to find the precision I want in mario platformers. As you said they could've added the option, but it doesn't make the game less good at all.
On a side note, I'd have loved the inclusion of the ability to throw shells/block upwards like in Super Mario World.

Using the train whistle in spirit tracks is one of my guilty pleasures aswell, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one lol I can't count the times I went "choo-choooooo" with it whilst traveling through New Hyrule with a smile on my face  ;D
I love how Duane used Arsene Wenger and Arsenal while talking about the improvements over Phantom Hourglass and the Temple of the Ocean King...that's something special you won't find in a non-European Nintendo podcast and why I love Radio Ninty! 8)

I think Wind Waker was a wonderful game, yes the traveling on boat got boring and I was disappointed by the "go get the 8 triforce pieces by fishing them" part, but the game was really fantastic and new. Twilight Princess was great mainly for two reasons: a) Midna and b) wolf Link, but the storytelling was sorely lacking in my opinion. Spirit Tracks I think is the best portable Zelda yet, maybe Link's Awakening is still no.1 but I haven't played it so I can't judge.

2010 will be a good year for the "hardcore" gaming on Wii with Galaxy2, No More Heroes Desperate Struggle, Metroid Other M and hopefully the new Zelda (I'm still hoping to a holiday 2010 release for it...whishful thinking?) so it should be pretty solid. Plus there could be surprises like Red Steel 2 or other titles, but definitely better than this hollow 2009.

I look forward to next show, and I hope in the meantime there will be the opportunity to talk with you guys and everybody else here on the forums. This place needs a bit more vitality (oh my, that made me think about the vitality sensor...*facepalm* lol)

I hope I won't be the only one submitting questions, I have more stuff to ask but I don't want the questions segment to become a "Tyri asks" section  :P
Living proof that Italian people don't sound like Mario when speaking English, and don't sound like Peter Griffin's impression when speaking Italian :P
Stuart is right, Super Mario World is indeed bloody awesome.
Pokemon isn't just for kids, there is some serious maths behind raising those little bastards if you want to be hardcore at that.
I love Radio Ninty ^_^

Haha! It does doesn't it?

Rest assured, I wasn't and I can't figure out what was causing it still, my microphones not been touched since the last recording, on which it was fine.

I use a proper Podcasting mic with external sound mixer, ooo get me!

No idea what Duane uses though Centy and I both used to use a Poundland one (poundland is like the scummiest shop ever, everything there costs a pound and most of it is utter crap)

Mines just a standard desktop mic, not a poundland one though, they didn't have any

Hell yeah!  ;D

That's a nice tag name, very cool, very concise. It takes about a page and a half to explain mine, and even then it doesn't make any sense.  8)

Why the wait? JIC it's gifted? We couldn't wait...it's too bloody good.

Partly 'cos I'm unlikely to get any games as gifts, so it'll be nice to have something awesome to open on the day; partly because most of my portable gaming is in work lunch hours and I know I'll want more time than that when I first play it, and partly because I'm halfway through FF Anniversary on the PSP, and if I don't finish it before I start on ST I may never go back to it...

Understandable on all counts.

I've put down FFVI on DS now for the 3rd or 4th time. I keep picking it up right before another great game comes out. I snagged Henry Hatsworth (because of Centy's backing) and Phantasy Star Zero was given to me, and then all of the stuff coming out at the beginning of the year (Glory of Heracles [tho the Nintendo Power article made me leery of it], Infinite Space, Pokemon HG & SS, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey) it may be a while before I get back to it. I didn't play FFVI which everyone says is the best, and keep seeing the GBA remake and I know as soon as I buy it they're going to announce that they're remaking it for DS and I'm going to be out $20, so I keep waiting in vain for an announcement.

But yes, in a week you'll have to let us know what you think of it.

I wish our dollar store had desktop mics, we just get outdated candy, half bad produce and plates featuring pictures of the Holy Mother and Jesus sporting a Sacred Heart and such.
